We have started our business in Bamako, the capital on December 4th 1998 and by May of 1999 we started our distribution inside the country. The project that was first aimed towards the private pharmacies turned out much more beneficial to dispensaries, hospitals and other local institutions. In September 1999 we managed to establish a distribution system in the Western region of Kayes, an extremely difficult to reach area. Three Land Rover vehicles were dispatching our products all over the country. |
In de middle of 2000 we opened our first regional
agency in Kayes, followed in 2001 by Sikasso and
Sevaré [next to Mopti]. By that time we had over
one thousand regular customers, ranging from
pharmacies to hospitals, NGO and other projects.
In the first trimester of this year we are
opening
our fifth agency in Segou, the former capital of Mali.
Next are the construction of a new agency
in
Bamako and the appointment of a new General
Manager for Mali.
